Company

The CVA Group represents an efficient and well-established productive reality for the economy of the Aosta Valley Region, rapidly expanding across the national territory, where it plays a leading role in the energy transition through operations aimed at increasing the production of clean energy from renewable sources, such as the revamping of hydroelectric plants and significant investments in new wind and photovoltaic facilities, targeting an increase in installed capacity of +800 MW throughout Italy by 2029.

Each company within the Group operates in the electrical sector with its own mission and specific objectives, capable of generating business opportunities while respecting shared values: sustainabilityinnovation, and safety.

The CVA Group produces on average about three billion kWh per year of clean energy, predominantly hydroelectric, but also wind and photovoltaic, enough to meet the needs of about one million households.

The Group operates through companies active in four vertical areas along the entire energy supply chain: productionsalesdistribution, and energy efficiency.

The parent company CVA S.p.A. owns 31 hydroelectric plants located in the Aosta Valley and, with its dams, reservoirs, and water conveyance channels, has a widespread presence throughout the region, which ranks among the top in Italy in terms of renewable energy production. The subsidiary Valdigne Energie S.r.l. owns the Faubourg and Torrent hydroelectric plants.

CVA Energie S.r.l.

The Group offers energy sales services through CVA Energie S.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary of CVA, which has been operating as a wholesaler in the Italian electricity market since October 2002, selling electricity to end customers distributed throughout the country in both retail and commercial sectors.

A wholly owned subsidiary of CVA, it is the main electricity distributor in Aosta Valley and offers its service to about 130,000 consumers located in 69 (out of 74) municipalities of the region.
